A TO Z CARDS

Challenge
The objective of Project 1: A to Z is to explore typographic hierarchy and grid principles. Through the creation of 26 alphabetical flashcards focused on a chosen occupation or topic, students will demonstrate their understanding of typography's role in informing and engaging audiences. Using Adobe InDesign, participants will craft visually appealing flashcards that effectively communicate the meanings of selected vocabulary terms. This project encourages creativity, attention to detail, and a comprehensive understanding of visual communication principles.
Solution
I combined my love for travel with design by creating unique boarding passes, each representing a different city from A to Z. On the front, I included illustrations of iconic landmarks from each city, credited to Designs by Anderson Groups. Alongside the illustration, I featured the corresponding letter of the alphabet, color-coded by continent. The back of each pass contains a short blurb about the city, along with additional information. By incorporating elements of a traditional boarding pass, I tried to capture the essence of travel and the beauty of each destination.
